I’ve been going to Dental center for about Five months now and I have been taken care of so well. I am young so unfortunately because I take medicine it got to my teeth really badly and I needed implants. Doctor Chaffin has been amazing to me this entire time and made me feel like family. Trinity amazing she makes you so welcomed and again like part of the family. I originally was going to get on for where they have two shapes the bone, but since I am so young, Dr. Chaffin was so amazingly gracious to me With the price so I’m able to get a top and bottom three on six set and they are beautiful and I cannot wait to go back into weeks to get the final. I will share on here! But Definitely in good hands if you are with Dr.C Plus, the whole stuff at the location is amazing. I just would not have enough for him to ride about everyone.

What Are Dentures?

Dentures are custom-made dental prosthetics that replace missing teeth and surrounding tissues.

They are crafted to restore function, aesthetics, and oral health for patients with tooth loss. Modern dentures are lightweight, durable, and designed to closely mimic the appearance of natural teeth.

There are two main types of dentures:

Traditional Dentures: These are removable prosthetics that replace an entire arch (full dentures) or multiple missing teeth (partial dentures).

Permanent Dentures: Also known as implant-supported dentures, these are secured using dental implants for improved stability and comfort.

Dentures not only restore the appearance of your smile but also help maintain facial structure, prevent sagging, and improve chewing and speaking abilities.

Benefits of Dentures

Traditional dentures are a non-invasive, removable option that replaces missing teeth. While traditional dentures are a reliable option for many patients, they may require occasional adjustments to maintain their fit as your gums and jawbone change over time. Permanent dentures are an advanced alternative that provides exceptional stability and functionality. These dentures are anchored to the jawbone using dental implants—small titanium posts that act as artificial roots. Implant-supported dentures can replace a full arch of teeth with fixed or removable options.

Non-surgical and cost-effective.

Restores chewing ability, speech, and aesthetics.

Custom-made for a comfortable and natural-looking fit.

Easy to remove for cleaning and maintenance.

Full Dentures

Designed to replace an entire arch of teeth, full dentures rest on the gums and are held in place by suction or dental adhesive. They are ideal for patients who have lost all of their teeth. We are here to help transform your smile.

Jawbone Preservation

Dental implants stimulate the jawbone, preventing bone loss and maintaining facial structure.

Partial Dentures

For patients with some remaining natural teeth, partial dentures fill gaps and prevent adjacent teeth from shifting. They consist of replacement teeth on a gum-colored base, secured with clasps that anchor to nearby teeth.

Long-Lasting

With proper care of our CR Smiles Dental Implant Center, permanent dentures can last many years.

Superior Stability & Improved Functionality

Unlike traditional dentures, implant-supported dentures won’t slip, shift, or require adhesives. Chewing and speaking feel natural and secure.

Aesthetically Natural

Implant-supported dentures look and feel more like natural teeth.

Our Customized Denture Process

We follow a detailed, patient-centered process to ensure your dentures fit comfortably, function well, and look natural:

1. Consultation and Evaluation
We begin with a thorough evaluation of your oral health, jawbone structure, and goals. During this visit, we’ll discuss the pros and cons of both traditional and implant-supported dentures and help you choose the best option for your needs.

2. Treatment Planning
For traditional dentures, we take impressions of your gums and remaining teeth to design a custom fit. If you opt for implant-supported dentures, we’ll plan the placement of your dental implants, ensuring precision and comfort.

3. Denture Fabrication and Placement
Your dentures will be custom-crafted to match the shape, size, and shade of your natural teeth. For permanent dentures, dental implants will be surgically placed, and a healing period will allow the implants to fuse with the jawbone before attaching the final denture.

4. Fitting and Adjustments
We will ensure your dentures fit comfortably and make adjustments as needed. For permanent dentures, the final restoration will be secured to your implants for a seamless, natural look.

5. Ongoing Care and Support
We provide continued support to ensure your dentures remain in excellent condition. Regular checkups allow us to monitor your oral health, fit, and overall satisfaction.

Combining Traditional and Permanent Dentures

At CR Smiles, we understand that every patient’s needs are unique. Some patients may start with traditional dentures and later transition to permanent implant-supported options as they look for more stability and durability.

For those who may not be ready for the investment of implant-supported dentures, traditional dentures provide a reliable and affordable starting point. Over time, dental implants can be added to convert removable dentures into fixed, permanent solutions, offering the best of both worlds.

Caring for Your Dentures

Proper care is essential for both traditional and permanent dentures:

For Traditional Dentures: Clean daily with a soft brush and denture cleaner. Soak overnight to maintain their shape, and rinse thoroughly before wearing.

For Permanent Dentures: Brush as you would natural teeth, paying special attention to the gumline. Regular dental cleanings will keep your implants and dentures in top condition.

Who Can Benefit from Dentures?

Dentures are an excellent solution for:

Patients with multiple or full-arch tooth loss.

Individuals seeking an affordable, non-invasive option (traditional dentures).

Patients who desire a stable, long-term solution (permanent dentures).

Those looking to restore their smile, chewing ability, and confidence.

At CR Smiles, we’ll help you determine whether traditional or permanent dentures are best suited for your oral health needs and lifestyle.
